CHICKEN CASSEROLE

4-5 chicken breasts, skinless, boneless

2 cans cream of chicken or mushroom soup

1 cup milk

1 cup mayonnaise

1 can mushrooms, drained

1 cup sliced water chestnuts, drained

2 tsp. onion flakes

1 cup green pepper or celery, chopped

4-8 cheese slices

1 package broad egg noodles

 

Boil chicken breasts. Discard water and cut up into bite-sized pieces. Mix with soup, milk, mushrooms, peppers or celery. Cook egg noodles and mix all together. Put cheese slices on top

OR

mix one package herb dressing with 1/2 cup melted margarine over top.

 

Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly, about 45 minutes-1 hour.
