TOFFEE SAUCE

I put this over any steamed pudding. It's very smooth and creamy.

 

2/3 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup whipping cream

1/4 cup butter

1 tsp. vanilla

 

Bring sugar, cream and butter to a boil, stirring until smooth. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in vanilla.
