Chicken Sour Cream Bake

This is a recipe that I searched for after my husband, Seth, described it to me. He knew it as "Maine Party Chicken". It is excellent. Another one of Seth's favorites.

 

6 chicken breast halves boneless and skinless

4 ounces chipped dried beef

12 slices bacon

2 cups sour cream

1 can cream of mushroom soup

paprika

 

Wrap each breast section in a slice of chipped beef, then wrap with bacon. Chicken breasts may be quartered if they are too large to be wrapped in a slice of beef.

Mix sour cream and soup. Place chicken in greased casserole dish and pour soup mixture over top. Sprinkle with paprika.

Bake uncovered at 325 degrees F for 2 hours.
