This is good for Ecclesial meals. A little more special than plain old mashed potatoes.
8 potatoes peeled and cooked
8 ounces cream cheese softened
8 ounces sour cream
3 tablespoons chives, salt, pepper and garlic salt
cheddar cheese shredded
Mash potatoes. Blend cream cheese and sour cream. Mix with potatoes. Add chives, salt , pepper, & garlic salt.
Spread in buttered 9 X 13-inch pan. Cover and put in refrigerator.
1 hour before serving: dot with butter, sprinkle with cheese & paprika. Bake at 325 degrees F for 1 hour.
