Oriental Noodle Salad

1/8 Cabbage Shredded

8 Tbs. toasted slivered almonds

8 Tbs. toasted sesame seeds

6 spring onions

2 stalks of celery

2 packets of Chicken 2 minute Noodles (uncooked)

 

Dressing

3 Tbs. Sugar

4 Tbs. Vinegar

1/2 Cup Oil

1/2 Cup boiling water

 

Method

Dissolve sugar in 1/2 cup water add 2 sachets of flavor from noodles and mix. Add vinegar and oil, crush noodles and combine to liquid. Allow to sit for a while, slice cabbage and onions and celery. Mix almonds, sesame seeds, cabbage, onions and celery to noodles. Stir Well and Chill.

Note: Almonds and Sesame seeds can be toasted in fry pan on top of stove

This makes quite a lot. If making just for your family, 1/2 quantity is sufficient.
