Our family are total cheese lovers so this one really fits us.
8 boneless chicken breasts
1/2 pound sliced bacon
8 ounces cream cheese
freeze dried chives
1 can cheddar cheese soup
8 ounces cheddar cheese grated
1/2 cup milk
With meat tenderizer, pound chicken breasts. Place 1-TBSP. cream cheese in center of breast, sprinkle with a pinch of garlic powder and 1 tsp. chives. Fold over and wrap with 1/2 strip of bacon. Place in glass baking dish, seam side down.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes.
Sauce: Mix cheddar cheese soup, grated cheddar and milk. Pour over chicken and continue to bake for another 35 minutes. Sauce is also great over rice.
