CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CANDIES

I have a wonderful recipe for chocolate peanut butter candies...the children at my ecclesia really love them (the adults too).

 

4 cups icing sugar

2 1/2 cups smooth peanut butter

3 tblsp butter

 

Mix together well, do not melt the butter. Refridgerate for about 2 hours then let stand at room temperature for 1/2 hour. Form mixture into small balls and let sit for 1/2 hour to set.

 Melt 1 or 2 packages of semi-sweet chocolate chips either in double boiler or microwave. Dip each candy in the chocolate until covered. Place on cookie sheet lined with waxed paper and place in refridgerator until chocolate hardens.
